Their high bid, and no one was telling how high that bid was, benefited Riley Hospital for Children, where Dr. Tres Scherer is a surgeon.
The prize package involved two relatively new ventures in Indianapolis: Tiffany /&/amp; Co. and the Conrad Hotel.
Scherer and his wife, Joan, spent Saturday night at a Conrad Hotel suite. Sunday morning, the hotel's Rolls-Royce chauffeured the couple to a special Breakfast at Tiffany's, served long before any of the Fashion Mall shops opened to the public.
